The Mr. Amos Club
-----------------
This is a disk mag (amongst many other things) and offers everything anyone
would want to do with Amos. They can even supply you with music and GFX
for your programs. Each issue contains lots of excellent source code,
hints, tips and tutorials. Brian Bell is the programmer behind Charlie
Chimp and really knows his stuff.
Each issue follows the complete writing of a game, at the time of writing
they are making a Dizzy clone and a Streetfighter clone and they look very
impressive, you are taken step by step through each part of the game as it is
written and the knowledge and techniques you will pick up will be invaluable.
If you buy one issue you will want the set, trust me!
Send 2.50 for an issue to:
Brian Bell,

Deja VU Software
----------------
Sells Amos Licenceware, most titles include the source with the game.
I have heard that they have gone bust so don`t send any money, write first.

Some Amos books
---------------
Amiga Games Makers Manual.
Stephen Hill
Sigma Press
ISBN 1-85058-230-0
19.99
This I would recommend as the next step on from this tutorial. It takes a
good long look at writing games of all sorts including shoot em ups,
adventures, simulations etc. A good read.
Mastering Amiga Amos
--------------------
Phil South
Bruce Smith Books
ISBN 1-873308-12-4
19.95
This book is good for hints and tips and learning different techniques, maybe
this could be step three in your learning process.
At the time of writing there are two more Amos books that have just been
published, I don`t know what they are like but here are all the details I
can find:
Ultimate Amos
-------------
Amiga Format
19.95
Check out the adverts in Amiga Format as they wrote and are publishing it.
Amos in Education
-----------------
Len and Anne Tucker
I don`t know anything about this book, contact Len or Anne at the address
given under The Amos P.D Library.
As far as I know at the moment these are the only Amiga magazines that are
running a regular Amos programming column.
Amiga Shopper (Future)
----------------------
Amiga Computing (Europress)
----------------------------
Other magazines do the occasional series so keep an eye out.
That must be enough information for you to make your next step, DO IT!!!
